Ilaria Ceteroni received the 2nd Monetary Prize Horizon Europe 112CO2 Challenge #2, for her proposal titled «Synthetic, Low-Carbon-Footprint Hydrogen as Reactant for CO2 Fixation into High-Added-Value Commodity Chemicals“, to the best project for the valorization of synthetic, low-carbon footprint hydrogen for the production of high-added value chemicals.

Funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme (Grant Agreement no. 952219) and coordinated by the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, this challenge has brought forward innovative solutions in methane decomposition. The judging panel was chaired by Professor Dr. Adélio Mendes, with Professor Dr. Michael and Dr. Noriko Sata serving as full members.
